Centuries ago, Güzelyurt was a bustling town mainly inhabited by Greek Orthodox families. However, in 1924, during a population exchange, these families were relocated to Greece, leaving behind abandoned Greek houses and churches. Today, as we head towards Konya, we'll take a quick stop to explore a village in Güzelyurt. Then, in Konya, the city famous as the resting place of the Persian poet Mevlana Rumi and the birthplace of the Turkish whirling dance, we'll visit the Mevlâna Museum, also known as the Green Mausoleum, filled with poetry and history.

Today, our journey begins with exploring the historical city of Konya, where we'll wander through its bustling bazaar filled with a colorful array of goods like hardware, clothing, jewelry, and religious items.

Next, we'll continue our travels to Antalya, a stunning city located along the Mediterranean coastline. Along the way, we'll make a stop in Aspendos to marvel at its remarkable Roman theater, renowned for its Greek-inspired architecture and considered one of the world's best-preserved ancient theaters.

Upon our arrival in the late afternoon, we'll check into our hotel in Antalya, where you can unwind and relax after a day of exploration.
