Day 1Arrival in Tokyo

Welcome to Japan! After you land, head to your hotel at your own pace and settle in. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy.

Day 2Explore Tokyo's Fall Beauty

Meet your guide at the scheduled time and start your day at the bustling Tsukiji Outer Market. Stroll through its lively alleys filled with fresh seafood, tasty street food, and traditional snacks. Feel free to sample some local favorites (at your own expense) while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
Next, visit Meiji Jingu Shrine, a peaceful spot surrounded by forest that turns golden and amber in the fall. Walk through the large torii gate, admire the wooden shrine buildings, and observe locals offering prayers in this sacred space dedicated to Emperor Meiji. Then, enjoy a walk along Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue. This beautiful street is lined with golden ginkgo trees on both sides, forming a stunning autumn tunnel.
At noon, head to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Explore its Japanese, French, and English-style gardens, each painted in rich reds and oranges by maple and cherry trees. If you're visiting in early November, be sure to see the seasonal chrysanthemum displays. Optionally, end the day with a visit to Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. From the observation deck, take in sweeping views of Tokyo and the surrounding fall scenery.
After a full day of seasonal beauty, return to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 3Kawaguchiko & Mt. Fuji Autumn Tour

Leave the busy city behind and head out on a peaceful journey to Kawaguchiko, about 1.5 hours away. This beautiful mountain area is one of the best places to see amazing fall colors in Japan. Your first stop is Arakurayama Sengen Park, where you'll get a famous view of Mt. Fuji with bright autumn leaves all around—a perfect photo spot! Next, walk through the Maple Corridor (Momiji Kairou), a quiet path lined with maple trees glowing in red and orange.
Later, take a fun ride on a pirate-style ship across Lake Ashinoko. The calm lake reflects the fall colors and nearby hills. Your guide will share interesting stories about the area's volcanoes and samurai past.

Day 4Ride the Shinkansen to Kanazawa

Start your day with a relaxed morning in Tokyo. You can grab breakfast at a cozy café, take a peaceful walk in a nearby park, or do some last-minute shopping in places like Ginza or Shibuya.
In the afternoon, head to the train station and hop on the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kanazawa. Once you arrive at Kanazawa Station, make your way to the hotel and settle in for the night.

Day 5Half-Day Shirakawa-Go Tour

Travel back in time with a visit to the charming village of Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage site hidden in the Japanese Alps. Your English-speaking driver-guide will pick you up from Kanazawa and share fun and interesting stories about the area along the way.
Once you arrive, walk across the wooden bridge over the Shō River and explore the village's unique gasshō-zukuri houses, known for their steep, thatched roofs that look like hands in prayer. You'll have over two hours to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, snap photos from the scenic lookout, and get a feel for life in old Japan.

Day 8Kyoto Day Trip With Tea Ceremony

Begin your day with a walk up Mount Inari, where thousands of red torii gates form a magical path leading to the famous Fushimi Inari-Taisha Shrine. Surrounded by golden fall leaves, the walk feels calm and magical.
