Start your day with a visit to Tiananmen Square, one of the most iconic landmarks in Beijing. From here, step into the Forbidden City, once home to Ming and Qing emperors. Walk through its red walls and golden roofs, exploring the grand halls that shaped China's imperial history.
Later, follow your guide into Beijing's hutongs to observe local life and traditional culture. Visit former siheyuan residences of historical figures, enjoy a Peking opera performance with a drink at a teahouse, and take a walk along Dingfu Street, lined with historical buildings.

Drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall (approx. 2 hours). This well-preserved section sees fewer crowds. Take the cable car up and down, then walk along the historic stone steps to take in the views of this ancient wonder.
On your way back to the city, visit the Beijing Olympic Park. Capture iconic photos of the Bird's Nest Stadium and the Water Cube, two of the most recognizable venues from the 2008 Summer Olympics. Finish the day with a visit to a pearl workshop, where you'll learn about the fascinating process of pearl cultivation and admire a beautiful selection of handcrafted jewelry.

Day 4Temple of Heaven, Beijing to Xi'an

Start the morning at a lively Beijing market, where stalls are filled with seasonal produce and the steam from bun shops fills the air. It's a good spot to try a classic local breakfast or snack.
Next, visit the Temple of Heaven, a Ming-dynasty complex originally used for imperial prayers. Today, it serves as a public park where locals practice tai chi, sword dancing, or pavement calligraphy in a relaxed setting.
Afterwards, transfer to the railway station for the high-speed train to Xi'an. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you and assist with hotel check-in.

Begin the day at Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Take the Bailong Elevator up to the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you'll see the towering pillars that inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. Walk along the mountain paths for panoramic views.
Next, take a one-way cable car to Tianzi Mountain, known for its broad vistas and dramatic sandstone peaks rising above the clouds.
Afterwards, ride the mini-train through the Ten-Mile Gallery, a scenic pathway lined with trees and streams.

In the afternoon, explore Tianmen Mountain. Take the cable car up to see the natural mountain arch known as Heaven's Gate, walk along the glass pathway, and visit Tianmen Cave before descending.
Afterwards, transfer to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and accompany you to the hotel for check-in.

Explore the nearby Bugaoli area, known for its blend of Chinese and French architectural styles. Continue to a food market to sample local snacks. In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai Museum, which houses a notable collection of ancient bronzes, ceramics, calligraphy, and coins.
