5-Day Bhutan Highlights Tour

Your adventure begins with your arrival at Paro airport, where you're greeted by your guide. Together with your private driver, you'll journey toward Thimphu(about 1.5 hours' drive).  

Once you've settled into your hotel in Thimphu, your exploration begins with the majestic Buddha Dordenma Statue, an impressive sight that oversees the valley. Then continues with a trip to the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to the unique Takin, Bhutan's national animal.

Next, explore the serene Zilukha Nunnery and the Bhutan Post Office Headquarters. End your day with a visit to the stately Thimphu Dzong (Tashichho Dzong), open to visitors after 5:00 pm on weekdays.

Start your day with a scenic drive from Thimphu to Punakha((3 hours' drive). En route, stop at Dochula Pass for a stunning view of the Himalayas and the 108 serene Druk Wangyal Chortens. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, a revered site known for blessings of fertility.

The day's highlight is the visit to the Punakha Dzong, often hailed as the most beautiful dzong in Bhutan.
Situated at the meeting point of the Mo Chhu and Puna Tsang Chu Rivers, it's a sight to behold with its majestic architecture and the wooden cantilever bridge that arches over the river, offering a picturesque pathway to this historic fortress.
