12-Day Thailand and Laos Exploration

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the renowned Train Market, where trains pass through multiple times daily. Then, head to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market for a taste of local treats like sticky rice and hot fish ball soup. Finally, return to Bangkok to explore the historic Jim Thompson House, showcasing a vast collection of antiques and artworks.

Fly to Chiang Mai in the morning and upon arrival, your local guide will greet you and accompany you to the hotel. Experience the rich culture of northern Thailand's Miao people at the Meo Hill Tribe Village, followed by a visit to the Buddhist Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. In the morning, head to Baan Chang Elephant Park for an Elephant's Day Care experience. Departing from the hotel around 8:30 to 9:00 via shuttle bus, you'll arrive at the park in approximately 50 minutes. With your guide's assistance, obtain a Laos visa upon arrival. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mekong River as you cruise to Pakbeng, passing by Ban Gon Durn village and observing local agricultural life along the riverbank.

Disembark at Luang Say Lodge before sunset and indulge in a delightful dinner on the terrace, overlooking the majestic Mekong River, the 12th-longest in the world.

Visit ancient temples like Wat Sene, Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai, each offering unique insights into Lao culture. Begin your day with a visit to the stunning Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you'll marvel at their natural beauty. Enjoy the radiant sunlight filtering through the trees and sparkling on the lake's surface. Next, explore the Ban Ouay village to meet the Lao Hmong ethnic minority group before lunch near the waterfalls. Then, fly to Vientiane, the capital of Laos.
