Day 1Arrive in Bangkok

Start your day by immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of the flower and vegetable market, where you can experience an authentic working market. Afterward, explore the stunning Grand Palace and revered Wat Phra Kaew, essential stops for any Bangkok visitor.

After a delicious lunch, start a serene long-tail boat cruise along the canal, offering glimpses of Thai houses and rural life. Then visit to Wat Arun, affectionately known as the Temple of the Dawn, providing the perfect backdrop for memorable photo opportunities.

Day 3Visit the Train Market in Bangkok

Day 4Travel from Bangkok to Chiang Mai

Fly to Chiang Mai in the morning and upon arrival, your local guide will greet you and accompany you to the hotel. Experience the rich culture of northern Thailand's Miao people at the Meo Hill Tribe Village, followed by a visit to the Buddhist Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Reach the summit of Mount Doi Suthep via a 309-step climb and enjoy panoramic views of Chiang Mai city.

Day 5Baan Chang Elephant Park in Chiang Mai

In the morning, head to Baan Chang Elephant Park for an Elephant's Day Care experience. Departing from the hotel around 8:30 to 9:00 via shuttle bus, you'll arrive at the park in approximately 50 minutes. At this ethical and sustainable park, you'll engage with the elephants, participating in activities like touching, bathing, and playing with them, and even helping to prepare their lunch after enjoying your own. Before heading back to Chiang Mai, you'll also have the chance to meet some baby elephants in their nursery area.

Day 6Golden Triangle to Chiang Rai

In the morning, drive to Chiang Rai and make a brief stop at a small hot spring. Afterwards, head to Chiang Sean for the Golden Triangle, named for its location at the intersection of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. 

In the afternoon, explore the major international border crossing between Thailand and Myanmar at the Mae Sai Border. The remainder of the day promises unforgettable experiences as you wander through the Akha and Yao hill tribe villages. Here, you'll witness the vibrant ethnic-minority attire being spun, woven, and dyed, while gaining insight into the villages' traditional culture, religious beliefs, and turbulent history.

Day 7Journey from Chiang Rai to Pakbeng via Chiang Khong

Begin your day with a journey from Chiang Khong to the Laos border, then hop on a boat for a scenic ride along the Khong River, passing through the Houayxay checkpoint.

With your guide's assistance, obtain a Laos visa upon arrival. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mekong River as you cruise to Pakbeng, passing by Ban Gon Durn village and observing local agricultural life along the riverbank.
