Once in Thimphu, check into your accommodation and then set out to visit the National Memorial Chorten, the impressive Buddha Dordenma Statue, and the Takin Sanctuary. End the day by visit the Thimphu Dzong (Tashichho Dzong), the center of Bhutan's civil government.
Set off from Thimphu by car to Punakha, stopping en route at the picturesque Dochula Pass. Here, witness the 108 memorial stupas and, if weather permitting, enjoy splendid views of the Himalayas.
Continue your journey with a hike to the famous Chimi Lhakhang, known for its fertility blessings. Afterwards, explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, positioned at the meeting of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers.

Prepare for a scenic 4-hour drive back to Paro. Upon arrival, visit the Paro Dzong, a fortress of significant historical and cultural importance. Then, discover the Ta Dzong, a 17th-century watchtower now serving as the National Museum of Bhutan - a treasure trove of Bhutanese culture and history.

Today's adventure takes you on a trek to the iconic Paro Taktsang, commonly known as the Tiger's Nest. Perched dramatically 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley. Experience breathtaking views from a key viewpoint before approaching the temple itself, then continue along the trails to explore this remarkable site further.
Later, visit the historical Drukgyel Dzong, with a chance to view the majestic Mt. Chomolhari, Bhutan's second-highest peak.
