Upon arriving in Entebbe, your friendly tour guide will greet you. Entebbe is a charming town located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria and is where Uganda's main international airport is located.
After a quick introduction, you'll hop on a private transfer for a scenic 6-hour journey to your lodge in Kibale Forest National Park. Settle in and get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of Uganda's lush forests.
In the lush Kibale Forest, you'll find lots of chimpanzees, around 1,500 of them!
This morning, we're going on a chimpanzee tracking adventure. It's your chance to see these amazing animals up close, as they groom each other, play, and search for food in the forest. The focus will be on finding the chimps, so we might not see other animals.
Later in the afternoon, we'll take a relaxed walk through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary. It's a beautiful place full of colorful birds and other wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for some fascinating creatures.
Leaving Kibale in the morning, we'll drive south for about two hours to reach Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is famous for its diverse wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions.
Once we arrive and settle in at our lodge, we'll take a short break before going on a game drive. We'll explore the park's well-maintained tracks, covering about 200km, to see a wide range of animals and enjoy the stunning landscapes.
In the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, it's common to spot lions lounging in the branches of massive fig trees. This morning, our safari begins with a game drive to seek out these unique tree-climbing lions. Afterward, we'll continue our journey south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, housing half of the world's gorilla population, offers the ultimate gorilla tracking experience. Today, we'll venture into the dense forest, having a thrilling hike to encounter these majestic creatures.
While the journey may be long and challenging, the moment you come face-to-face with a gorilla family, just meters away, will make every step worthwhile.
Say your goodbyes to Bwindi early in the morning, then catch a flight from Kihihi airstrip to Entebbe. When you arrive, you'll be picked up and taken to your hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Entebbe on your own.
After breakfast, you'll be taken to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Once you land, a local guide will meet you and drive you to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey from Nairobi airport to Lake Nakuru will take approximately 4.5 hours.
Situated in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Reserve is renowned for its flamingos, which tint the lake pink, and serves as a crucial stop on the African-Eurasian migratory flyway.
Start your day with a morning safari to catch sight of flamingos, along with other birds and mammals in the park. Afterward, enjoy a scenic five-hour drive to Maasai Mara.
Maasai Mara is a dream destination for wildlife enthusiasts! Today, you'll enjoy a full day exploring the reserve, with morning and late afternoon game drives. Get ready to spot iconic animals like lions, elephants, and rhinos, as well as countless other fascinating creatures.
You've got another day to soak in the wonders of Maasai Mara! Keep your eyes peeled for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, African buffalos, giraffes, zebras, and more as you explore the reserve.
Make the most of your final opportunity with a thrilling game drive in the vast Maasai Mara. Later in the afternoon, board a light aircraft bound for Nairobi, then catch your connecting flight to Zanzibar, renowned as Spice Island. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
